Large dogs + small kitchens = the need for a redesign! Hailing from Wildwood, MO, these busy parents needed an open, alluring space for their large family. Dark and uninviting, this small space made it impossible to utilize their kitchen.
This home contained a completely unused sitting area behind the kitchen. Knocking out this wall permitted us to expand their kitchen space, making it easy to navigate. As Earth lovers, they desired natural features, rustic cool tones and enhanced stone fixtures throughout. We achieved this look with a repurposed barn door, and barn wood for the flooring – bringing their imagination to life.
Hammered bronze and copper hood, apron front sink, weathered cherry perimeter cabinets, heritage distressed painted island cabinets, sueded finish granite countertops, reclaimed wood floors.
